Cam has always had a passion for food and sports – Competing in baseball, football, and basketball throughout high school. However, despite this commitment, he faced challenges with his own weight and athletic development growing up. Determined to enhance his skills, Cam committed his freshman and sophomore years to sport-performance camps, yet he continued to face challenges with weight loss and skill improvement. A pivotal moment came during his junior year when he began researching exercise and nutrition on his own time, ultimately purchasing a fitness program that transformed his understanding of fitness and overall health. Over the next year, Cam discovered a newfound passion for health and fitness, shifting his focus from playing sports to training not only himself, but coaching and training others as well. By the end of high school, he had lost a total of over 75 pounds, gained significant strength, and solidified his commitment to a healthy lifestyle. Cam then graduated from the University of Minnesota in the fall of 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and shortly thereafter earned his CPT certification through NASM. With a unique combination of personal experience and academic knowledge, he is eager and excited to apply his journey and skills as an Adult Trainer here at Redline Athletics – aiming to inspire others to reach their fitness goals. Outside of the gym, Cam has a love for watching just about any sport that is on TV and spending time with his English Bulldog, Prince.
