1 ON 1 TRAINING AND LESSONS

Concentrate on specific skills to enhance your game. Typically, 1-on-1 sessions are scheduled for 30 to 60 minutes and must be scheduled in advance with your trainer.

INTRO TO SPORTS

Professionally-coached early athletic development program tailored for athletes ages 3 to 7 of any skill level.  They’ll enjoy learning to catch, throw, kick, run, skip and more in this fun, upbeat program.

Derek Vacha

Derek Vacha

Director of Sports Performance

Coach Derek is a Columbus, Ohio native who has experience in multiple sports including Football, Soccer, and Track & Field. As a former football placekicker for Notre Dame College and Cabrillo College, Derek can educate our athletes about the professional Arena Football experience and the NCAA standards & expectations. During the completion of his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Youngstown State University, Derek had the opportunity to serve as an Undergraduate Intern for the Football, Tennis, and Softball teams at the university. Through these internships, Derek has made an NCAA Division I FCS National Championship appearance and was able to work directly with multiple NFL Draft picks. After graduating, Derek went on to earn a Master’s in Strength and Conditioning. Working as the Graduate Assistant at LaGrange College, he served as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Men’s Soccer and Women’s Volleyball teams. Now as an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Coach Derek is ready to use his knowledge and expertise to take our Athletes to the next level!

RJ Hutcherson

Sports Performance Specialist

Coach R.J. is an alumnus of Westerville North High School where he was a member of the Varsity Basketball team. After graduating from WNHS in 2014, R.J. went on to continue his academic and athletic careers at Fairmont State University (NCAA Division II). Upon the completion of his undergraduate degree, R.J. was recruited as a Graduate Assistant for Fairmont State. In this position, he served as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach and was later employed as an Assistant Coach for the Men’s 2019-2020 Basketball season. After attaining his master’s degree in Exercise Science, R.J. is returning to where his athletic career started to help grow and develop the next generation of elite athletes. R.J.’s experience with athletes from diverse skill-levels in basketball allows him to provide young athletes with strong personalized strength & conditioning programs. As our new Sports Performance Specialist, R.J. is ready to take our Athletes to the next level!

Elijah Emmons

Sports Performance Specialist

Coach Elijah is from Dayton, Ohio where he attended Stivers School for the Arts. Elijah was a successful athlete for both his high school soccer team and his club soccer team, Gunners FC. As a varsity starter for all of his high school career, Elijah was nominated into the captain’s position from his sophomore season to his senior season. Although Elijah is well-versed in several positions, his specialization is as a defensive back. Recruited to play NCAA Division II Soccer, Elijah continued his academic and athletic careers at the University of Findlay. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Strength & Conditioning and an Associate degree in Personal Training, Elijah has involved himself in numerous programs that have elevated his coaching skills and sports knowledge. From youth soccer programs to one-on-one personal training sessions, to YMCA youth programs, Elijah has built himself a credible resume to ensure our athletes are given top-tier education and training. More recently, Elijah has gained experience as a personal trainer at Absolute Fitness and worked as a Strength & Conditioning intern for the University of Cincinnati Athletic Department. During his time at UC, Elijah worked directly with the women’s lacrosse team, men’s baseball team, both men’s and women’s soccer teams, and several other teams to give him a diverse understanding of numerous collegiate sports. As a Redline Athletics Coach, Elijah is ready to share his depth of athletics and training programs with our Athletes and take them to the next level!
