Brad earned a degree in Exercise Sports Science from Spring Arbor University. His sophomore basketball season culminated in a National Championship and his junior and senior baseball seasons finished as National Runners Up. After being named the Male Athlete of the Year, an All American and the National Pitcher of the Year, Brad signed a contract to play for the Cleveland Indians. Brad’s Redline story started as an intern at the original Redline Athletics location in California. He has been a VP with the National Support Center since 2013 and has been the owner of Redline Scottsdale since February of 2023. Brad has been working with young athletes for 15 years and currently offers personal training in speed, strength, and baseball skill development. Brad has been married for 14 years has two girls (9 and 7) and a boy (4).

Meet Phil, our dedicated Director of Sports Performance at Redline Athletics, originating from Southern California. With a sports performance coaching career since 2015, Phil has been instrumental in enhancing the athletic prowess of a diverse range of athletes, from grade school to the professional level. Joining the Redline family in 2019, he has since played a crucial role in creating a dynamic and enjoyable environment where individuals can improve their speed, agility, strength, and power. Phil takes joy in witnessing the growth of athletes both in and out of the gym, recognizing the transformative power of progress. His mission is clear: to help athletes progress, perform, and prevail on and off the field, making him an invaluable asset to the Redline team.

Sydney has been a valued member of the Redline Athletics family since January 2023, initially joining as an ASU intern during her Sports Science bachelor’s program. Following her graduation, Sydney transitioned into the role of Sports Performance Specialist (SPS), where she leads our semi-private athletic development sessions alongside other Scottsdale coaches.
With over four years of experience in the coaching side of the fitness and performance industry, Sydney brings a wealth of knowledge to her current coaching role. She is deeply committed to the holistic development of young athletes, both on and off the field. As a staunch supporter of the Redline Athletics Character Development Program, Sydney endeavors to empower Redline athletes to thrive both inside and outside the gym.

Jacob Griffin brings both baseball skill and sports performance knowledge to the Redline team! His passion and love for baseball began at the young age of 3 and has spanned 20 plus years and counting. This athletic journey led him to Ottawa University here in Phoenix where he played college baseball for five years. He became a four-time Academic All-American, two-time recipient of the NAIA Daktronics award, and Teammate of the year.
During his time at Ottawa, Jacob earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology with focus in Biomechanics, Nutrition, and Anatomy, as well as a Masters of Arts in Organizational Leadership. Jacob’s commitment to excellence has extended beyond college, as he has competed in prestigious summer leagues such as the Independence League, West Coast League, and Arizona Collegiate Wood Bat League.
Driven by a profound passion for nurturing young athletes, Jacob is committed to developing not only their athletic skills, but also their character. He focuses on fostering resilience, discipline, and teamwork, with the goal of shaping well-rounded individuals who are equipped for success both on and off the field. His dedication reflects his belief in the transformative power of sports to mold future athletes and leaders who will create a lasting positive impact.
Jacob is available for 1-on-1 baseball skill training, works with our Semi Private athletes, executes team training programs and is available on weekends by appointment. We are blessed to have Jacob as a part of our Redline team!

Meet Westley! Westley is an integral part of the Redline team, assisting with coaching semi private sessions, private training, and member services. Westley graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Exercise Physiology. His passion lies in helping mold and shape better athletes and better people. Westley enjoys connecting with athletes, encouraging them to achieve their full potential.
On the basketball court, Westley overcame an MCL tear as a junior to become named to the 4A All-Region team as a senior. He spent a season on the NAU club basketball team as well before shifting his focus to his exercise physiology degree.
On the track, Westley went to the state meet in the 400m and 4x400m events.
His commitment to fostering resilience, discipline, and teamwork makes him a valuable asset to the Redline community!
