This training center is 10,900 square feet including a high intensity speed and agility training area along with 2 batting cages, a basketball/volleyball court for skill development sessions and private lessons, and Ninja style exercise equipment.

1 ON 1 TRAINING AND LESSONS

Concentrate on specific skills to enhance your game. Typically, 1-on-1 sessions are scheduled for 30 to 60 minutes and must be scheduled in advance with your trainer.

INTRO TO SPORTS

Zach Smith

ZACH SMITH

DIRECTOR OF SPORTS PERFORMANCE

Zach attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he won three national championships in the NCAA, one for Division 3 football and two for Division 2 rugby. He graduated with a Bachelors in Physical Education from UW-Whitewater with an emphasis in Human and Health Performance and a Minor in Strength and Conditioning. Zach has experience in programming and coaching linebackers at the college and high school level.

RAY TILLMAN

SPORTS PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST

Skills trainer & player development coach, Ray Tillman has played basketball and football his entire life. His coaching experience dates back to about seven years ago, when he coached his youth basketball team to a championship title. He also trained high school athletes from grade school to Division 1 in annual skills clinics throughout the years. Many of the athletes he trained with in football are currently playing professional Division 1 football.

Scott Plaza

SCOTT PLAZA

SPORTS PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST

Scott Plaza is the assistant softball coach and head women’s bowling coach at Dominican University.
Plaza was previously at Harper College where he served as the head softball coach for three seasons. During his tenure as the Hawks’ head softball coach, Plaza was responsible for recruiting quality student-athletes, coaching a pair of all-conference and four all-region student-athletes while setting the program record for wins in 2017.

Dan Lowry

DON LOWRY

SPORTS PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST

Dan was a 3-sport athlete in high school, competing in track and field, football and basketball.  While attending Harper College, Dan continued to compete in track and field.  He was part of the 2012 National Championship team and a National Champion in the hammer throw in 2013.  After transferring to North Central College, he continued to compete in track and field and received a B.A. in Exercise Science.

Dan has been coaching football and track and field since 2010.  He was the 2016 Men’s Assistant Coach of The Year at Harper College.  He is currently at Barrington High School where he coaches the throwers for the girls track and field team and the sophomore football team.  Dan also has extensive experience in personal training for adults.

DAVID CHUNG

SPORTS PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST

Basketball coach – member Jr. NBA basketball, David Chung of Clutch Ballers travel AAU basketball has been coaching basketball for years. In addition to running numerous basketball clinics at Redline Athletics, he has run clinics in Vernon Hills and Libertyville. David has coached in the Vernon Hills feeder program and several other AAU travel basketball teams including Future Elite in Waukegan and Triple Threat in Vernon Hills.

Alex Edmonds

ALEX EDMONDS

SPORTS PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST

Alex attended Mundelein High School, where he participated in football, wrestling and rugby. Alex also attended Robert Morris University from 2015-2019, where he won an MSFA Conference Championship in 2016 on the Eagles’ football team. He graduated with a B.A.S. in Applied Health Sciences and an A.A.S in Exercise and Sports Studies. Alex has experience in corrective exercise and coaching in college football, as well as youth wrestling and football clinics. Recently, he helped coach his men’s flag football team to win the 2020 Championship.
