Our 12,500 square foot state-of-the art Sports Performance Training Center is in the heart of Ventura, on the corner of Ralston Street and Dowell Drive. Redline Athletics Ventura features huge designated spaces that allow athletes the ability to focus on speed & agility training, flexibility & mobility, age-appropriate strength development, as well as sports specific training for all sports!

From the youth athlete trying to make the team to the high school athlete working to compete at the next level, our flexible schedule is easily adaptable for your busy life. We are especially adept at customizing a training program to complement school hours and team commitments.

1 ON 1 TRAINING AND LESSONS

Concentrate on specific skills to enhance your game. Typically, 1-on-1 sessions are scheduled for 30 to 60 minutes and must be scheduled in advance with your trainer.

INTRO TO SPORTS

Professionally-coached early athletic development program tailored for athletes ages 3 to 7 of any skill level.  They’ll enjoy learning to catch, throw, kick, run, skip and more in this fun, upbeat program.

Kevin

Kevin Ballard

DIRECTOR OF SPORTS PERFORMANCE

Kevin Ballard was born and raised in Ventura, California and attended Saint Bonaventure High School. He was a three-sport athlete competing in basketball, track and football. After high school, he received a scholarship to play football at the Air Force Academy. After one year, he transferred to Arizona State where he was invited to join their team as a preferred walk-on. Unfortunately, while at Arizona State, he suffered his second ACL injury and ultimately decided that coaching the youth of his hometown was the best decision.  For the last seven years, he has invested his full attention towards developing, training and coaching the vast young talent here in the 805. Kevin specializes in building confidence in young athletes that directly translates into high performance on the playing field and in their daily lives.

Silvia

Silvia Moerbeck

SPORTS PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST

With over 10 years of experience as a Performance Coach, Silvia Moerbeck brings a wealth of knowledge to Redline Athletics and is a force to be reckoned with. Born in Brazil, she started athletics at the age of 8 and by the end of her High School career, she received a full scholarship to play basketball at Universidade Salgado de Oliveira (Brazil) where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. This was when she realized her passion for mentoring to help individuals reach their life goals. Silvia is a Certified Personal Trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as well as an accredited Level 1 and 2 Poliquin Performance Specialist (PICP). She has trained and designed programs for athletes in multiple sports ranging from youth
to elite professional levels. Most recently, Silvia completed a prestigious internship at Mamba Sports Academy (now known as Sports Academy) in Newbury Park, CA. Silvia believes that through sports an individual can build discipline, leadership, teamwork, and a strong work ethic that will translate into any life path an individual chooses to pursue. She is excited to be with Redline Athletics Ventura to help coach young athletes into reaching their full potential.

Ally Shelton

SPORTS PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST

Hello, my name is Ally Shelton, I am a Ventura local and have been playing soccer competitively for 17 years. Throughout my youth, I played for Eagles Soccer Club in Camarillo. I trained at the highest level, ‘Elite Club National League,’ which allowed me to travel to camps and tournaments all around the United States. I attended Buena High School where I was offered many Division One (D1) scholarships. I committed to the University of Montana during my Junior year at Buena High School. After a year, I transferred to the University of California Santa Barbara to continue my athletic and academic career. As a student athlete who was plagued with many injuries in the process, I was still able to maintain a 3.8 academic average. I understand the dedication and commitment needed to be successful as an athlete at the Division 1 level and enjoy the ability to share my experiences with the youth in my community.  Throughout my athletic career I have trained with the best in the world, and I am truly excited to bring that same passion, experience and fire to my training at Redline Athletics Ventura.
