Speed & Agility

What is Speed & Agility?

Moving the body in one direction as fast as possible coupled with the ability to accelerate, decelerate, stabilize, and quickly change directions with proper posture.

Why is Speed & Agility important?

Athletes experience more success and have more confidence on their chosen field of play when they work to improve their speed and agility. They’ll react faster, move more fluidly, and make more plays.

How do we train Speed & Agility?

Redline teaches proper running mechanics and posture while incorporating dedicated focus on linear speed, lateral speed, footwork, change of direction, jumping and landing.

Strength & Conditioning

What is Strength & Conditioning?

Engaging in activities to improve performance by applying the general sports training principles of overload, reversibility, progression, individualization, periodization, and specificity. (ref 1, 2)

Why is Strength & Conditioning important?

To achieve their full potential, aspiring Athletes must understand proper posture, balance their movement patterns, build supporting and stabilizing muscle groups, improve mobility, and enhance their coordination. (ref 3)

How we train Strength & Conditioning?

Redline believes in age-appropriate strength and resistance training. We prioritize safety in every movement by focusing on proper mechanics first, followed by consistency, and then intensity.

Injury Prevention

What is Injury Prevention?

The outcome of the collective training activities consistently performed by an athlete to help him/her avoid major or season-ending injury.

Why is Injury Prevention important?

Athletes want to be able to perform at their best, and they never want to miss out on games or competitions due to injury. Well-rounded Athletes who train their body and movement patterns will be better prepared, more resilient, and able to thrive throughout the demands of a season, postseason and beyond.

How do we train Injury Prevention?

Redline provides a comprehensive and well-rounded program to develop speed, agility, strength, body awareness, movement mechanics, and posture. In all, it’s a great way to help ensure your Athlete stays strong, ready, and on their chosen field of play.

What Our Athletes Say

quotes

My son has been training at Redline for about 10 months, and the transformation has been nothing short of incredible. When he started, I used to lovingly describe his running and agility as that of a 'baby giraffe' - all legs and a bit wobbly. Our goal was to improve his fundamentals, balance, and strength. The team at Redline has delivered beyond our expectations. The growth is not just something we can see and feel; it's something we can measure. The periodic performance testing shows undeniable, consistent improvement over his time here. Looking at his journey from the beginning: * Explosive Power: His vertical jump has exploded from 14.6 inches to 21.3 inches—a massive increase of nearly 7 inches! * Strength: His Kneeling 4lb Medicine Ball throw went from 17 ft 2 in to an amazing 24 ft 5 in—an improvement of over 7 feet. * Agility & Coordination: He has nearly doubled his Cone Hops, jumping from an initial 28 hops to 50 hops. We attend the group sessions twice a week, which has been foundational to this growth. On top of that, the one-on-one training has been a game-changer for his sport-specific skills. He has worked with Brock in football and Chelsea in basketball, and they have both been instrumental in his development. Chelsea’s one-on-one basketball sessions, in particular, have truly pushed him to bring out a new level of skill and competitiveness. He’s not only building athletic skills but also confidence, and he has a great time with the friends he's made. If you're looking for a program that delivers real, measurable results with a fantastic coaching staff, I can't recommend Redline enough.
