RedLine Athletics Lee’s Summit is the preeminent facility for sports performance and personal training. This brand new training center is just over 8600 square feet including a half basketball, batting cages, power and core training area, and a strength room consisting of new Hammer Strength weight equipment, VertiMax, kettle bells, resistance bands, slam balls, etc.

1 ON 1 TRAINING AND LESSONS

Concentrate on specific skills to enhance your game. Typically, 1-on-1 sessions are scheduled for 30 to 60 minutes and must be scheduled in advance with your trainer.

Redline Coaches have a passion for Athletes. Their battle-tested professional and collegiate experience combined with their education and certifications create a positive, high-energy environment.

Ryan Howerton

GENERAL MANAGER

Former 3 sport athlete at Lebanon High School.  1st team All Ozark Conference basketball player and 3x All Ozark Conference football player.  Currently still holds the assist per game record at Lebanon High School.  1st team class 5 All State Quarterback and Southwest Missouri Player of the Year in 2008 with over 45 total touchdowns accounted for.  Holds multiple state passing records for MSHSAA. Went on to play college football at Mizzou. Learned the quarterback position under Hall of Fame coach Gary Pinkel and quarterback guru, David Yost.  Graduated in 2013 with bachelor’s degree in Sports Management.  Also received a master’s degree in sport management from Missouri State University in 2016.  Inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame Elite 11 class in 2017.  Has coached competitive USSSA baseball for the past 6 years traveling across the country competing against some of the top talent.

Phil Padilla

DIRECTOR OF SPORTS PERFORMANCE

Phil is originally from Southern California and has been in the field of sports performance as a coach since 2015 with experience training a diverse range of clients. Phil’s experience in sports is what led him to make a living out of health and fitness. After many years of experience with an athletic background in baseball, soccer, basketball, and boxing, he wanted to be the strength coach that he never had who can help others reach the next level of athletic performance.

Phil enjoys seeing individuals grow in and out of the gym. He knows first-hand how confidence tends to grow when someone begins to improve and see results. He loves educating individuals and creating a fun environment where they can enjoy the journey towards their goals. Phil explains, “My mission is to help our athletes progress, perform, and prevail on and off the field of play” as his goal as the Director of Sports Performance at Redline.

Additionally, Phil believes that being able to move well and have adequate strength is something we all need throughout life. As such, his training philosophy is to create a program that is designed to fit those needs and the unique needs of the athlete while mastering the foundational lifts and demonstrating proficient movement quality.

Phil is a specialist in enhancing sports performance for athletes of all backgrounds, ages, and skill levels. He concentrates on developing individualized exercise programs with the use of assessments, goal setting, and scientifically backed methodology to achieve a desired personal goal. Also, he specializes in stretching/mobility techniques to enhance movement quality and reduce imbalances. He currently competes in the sport of powerlifting.

John Wood

SPORTS PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST

Former collegiate lacrosse midfielder and multi-event track & field athlete John Wood is a native of Lee’s Summit, graduating from Lee’s Summit High School in 2014.  Wood attended Missouri Baptist University from 2015 to 2019, graduation with a bachelor’s degree in Fitness Management.

Specializing in the long and triple jump as well as 200- and 400-meter sprints, Wood ran track and field from 7th to 12th grade.  In his senior year of high school, he decided to enter into team sports and picked up a lacrosse stick for the first time. He played varsity his first year and went on to play as a scholarship athlete at MBU.

Between volunteering at summer youth camps, coaching clinics, and coaching on staff at various St. Louis high schools, Wood has several years of coaching and counseling experience at the middle and high school levels.

John received NAIA All-American, MCLA GRLC All-Conference, and NAIA Independent Conference All-Conference honors as a Midfielder during his time at Missouri Baptist University.

SARA SCOTT

SPORTS PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST

Former 5 sport athlete at Barat Academy. 1st team All-Conference, and 3x Honorable Mention soccer player. Went to play college soccer at Avila University and graduated with a degree in Kinesiology in 2015. Currently getting my Masters in Kinesiology and will graduate in May. During this time, I had the opportunity to be a Kinesiology Graduate Assistant through the program and have the experience to complete a research project on the Functional Movement Screen and the Overhead Squat. Also, had the opportunity to mentor and facilitate undergraduate research projects. I have played soccer since I was 3 and played club soccer for over 17 years. Started coaching for KC Fusion soccer club in 2019 based out at Wyandotte Sporting Fields. Currently hold my ‘F’ coaching license and looking to move up in the next couple months!

SAM ZEITZMANN

SPORTS PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST

Attended Saint Francis Borgia Regional High School as a 3-sport-athlete. MSHSAA Class 4 Football, 2nd team all-state junior and senior year in high school with an average of 7.5 tackles per game. Honorable mention 3 years of high school football. Varsity captain senior and junior year. Three years of varsity baseball as a 3rd baseman and relief pitcher. Two years of varsity discus and shotput. Reached sectionals for discus both years of varsity track and field. Graduated Rockhurst University class of 2020 with a major in Exercise Science and a minor in Business. Has coached middle school football, baseball, and basketball. USA football certified with heads-up-tackling certification. Coached 8th grade football team into two championships and six playoff appearances. Coached travelling baseball teams for five years with multiple tournament championships in Pond, Ellisville, and Chesterfield.

JORDAN HILL

SPORTS PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST

Former 4 sport athlete at Wellington-Napoleon high school. Averaged over 10 yards per carry throughout high school football career, won multiple gold medals at the MSHSAA state track meet, and also was an all conference basketball player. Currently plays football for the University of Central Missouri and is pursuing a degree in Sports Management. “I have always had a passion for sports and the training process that comes along with it. As my playing days have come closer to an end I have directed more towards the development of future athletes. I want to help kids reach their maximum potential and have fun while doing it.
