RedLine Athletics Lee’s Summit is the preeminent facility for speed and agility training and personal training. This brand new training center is just over 8600 square feet including a half basketball, batting cages, power and core training area, and a strength room consisting of new Hammer Strength weight equipment, VertiMax, kettle bells, resistance bands, slam balls, etc.

1 ON 1 TRAINING AND LESSONS

Concentrate on specific skills to enhance your game. Typically, 1-on-1 sessions are scheduled for 30 to 60 minutes and must be scheduled in advance with your trainer.

Redline Coaches have a passion for Athletes. Their battle-tested professional and collegiate experience combined with their education and certifications create a positive, high-energy environment.

ryan howerton

Ryan Howerton

GENERAL MANAGER

Former 3 sport athlete at Lebanon High School.  1st team All Ozark Conference basketball player and 3x All Ozark Conference football player.  Currently still holds the assist per game record at Lebanon High School.  1st team class 5 All State Quarterback and Southwest Missouri Player of the Year in 2008 with over 45 total touchdowns accounted for.  Holds multiple state passing records for MSHSAA. Went on to play college football at Mizzou. Learned the quarterback position under Hall of Fame coach Gary Pinkel and quarterback guru, David Yost.  Graduated in 2013 with bachelor’s degree in Sports Management.  Also received a master’s degree in sport management from Missouri State University in 2016.  Inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame Elite 11 class in 2017.  Has coached competitive USSSA baseball for the past 6 years traveling across the country competing against some of the top talent.

Phil Padilla

DIRECTOR OF SPORTS PERFORMANCE

Phil is originally from Southern California and has been in the field of sports performance as a coach since 2015 with experience training a diverse range of clients. Phil’s experience in sports is what led him to make a living out of health and fitness. After many years of experience with an athletic background in baseball, soccer, basketball, and boxing, he wanted to be the strength coach that he never had who can help others reach the next level of athletic performance.

Phil enjoys seeing individuals grow in and out of the gym. He knows first-hand how confidence tends to grow when someone begins to improve and see results. He loves educating individuals and creating a fun environment where they can enjoy the journey towards their goals. Phil explains, “My mission is to help our athletes progress, perform, and prevail on and off the field of play” as his goal as the Director of Sports Performance at Redline.

Additionally, Phil believes that being able to move well and have adequate strength is something we all need throughout life. As such, his training philosophy is to create a program that is designed to fit those needs and the unique needs of the athlete while mastering the foundational lifts and demonstrating proficient movement quality.

Phil is a specialist in enhancing sports performance for athletes of all backgrounds, ages, and skill levels. He concentrates on developing individualized exercise programs with the use of assessments, goal setting, and scientifically backed methodology to achieve a desired personal goal. Also, he specializes in stretching/mobility techniques to enhance movement quality and reduce imbalances. He currently competes in the sport of powerlifting.

Derek Woody

DEREK WOODY

SPORTS PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST

Derek Woody played collegiate soccer at Cerritos College and Orange Coast College in Southern California.  He has an E coaching license and has coached Competitive youth soccer at FC Premier, Saint John Bosco High school, and as a trainer at Coerver Coaching.

Derek earned a bachelor’s in 2019 in Kinesiology at California State University, Fullerton with a concentration in Strength & Conditioning.  He has experience in a full-time professional Strength & Conditioning internship role at the Metropolitan State University of Denver in the spring of 2020.  During the Summer of 2020, he participated in a summer internship at Mississippi State University. Derek recently moved to Missouri in which he is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Kinesiology at Avila University while being a Graduate Assistant- Strength & Conditioning coach with the University. He is a proud Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA.

Clay

CLAY LAMBRECHT

SPORTS PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST

Originally from Weston, Missouri where he attended high school at West Platte High. He started varsity baseball all 4 years winning 3 district championships. 2 state tournament appearances. All district utility player junior year and 2nd team all-district 3rd base senior year. Also, played 4 years of high school football. Started varsity junior and senior year with 1 district championship.

He later played baseball scholarship to the University of Saint Mary playing all 4 years. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at the University of Saint Mary.

He is currently certified through the ACSM as a Certified Personal Trainer.

“Growing up I didn’t have access to a place like Redline to get better, but I wish I had. Sports are so important in so many different ways, and for me, baseball is how I was able to pay for college. I love the idea of helping kids get to the point where they can say their athletic ability helped earn a scholarship to continue their education. That is my motivation to come in here and help young athletes realize that if they work hard and stay committed, they may have a chance to get to the next level!”

Nick

NICK JOHNSON

SPORTS PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST

Nick was born and raised here in  Kansas City, MO. Nick has always enjoyed working with athletes and decided to become a sports performance coach in 2016. From grade school, Nick has always loved being involved in sports and fitness. His experience in participating in multiple sports such as football, basketball, baseball, track, and lacrosse influenced his desire to help others achieve their goals. To Nick, everyone has the opportunity to reach their goals. It doesn’t matter how big or small the goal is, it can be accomplished. For him being a coach means so much more than just improving someone’s physical performance it’s about improving someone’s life.

In High School, Nick played football at Rockhurst High School where he helped the Hawklets win two Class 6A titles and received Honorable mention honors for his work on the field. He then continued on to play at the University of Central Missouri where he helped the Mules win two Conference championships and receive a degree in physical education. Nick then went into coaching and working with student-athletes and received certifications in personal Training through ISSA and a sports performance specialist training from ACE fitness. Nick has coached at the high school and collegiate level in football and still continues to mentor and grow athletes today.
