PERFORMANCE & SKILL TRAINING FOR YOUTH AND ADULTS

Youth and Adults have a variety of options to train at Redline Denver East. We provide Total Player Development through excellent coaches expert in their sport. What ever your goals, we have the coaches, the programming and the facilities to help you achieve them.

PERFORMANCE TRAINING
Performance training occurs weekdays at 4, 5, 6, and 7 and weekends at 10 & 11. We offer a Jump Club on Saturdays at 10 & 11, all of which are free to members. Sports performance focuses upon speed, agility and strength development which is fundamental to all athletics. Our coaches put a heavy emphasis on technique and injury prevention — a healthy and strong athlete is our goal. We test quarterly so you can see your gains!

For High School Athletes, we offer NXT LEVEL Performance Training using three specialized sports performance tracks. These sessions are at 7 and 8 pm weekdays and at 10 and 11 on Saturdays. Here are the tracks:
SPEED LAB — Speed Lab is reserved for top athletes that are looking to increase speed and quickness for their respective sports. This is particularly good for turf sports and track.
JUMP CLUB — The Jump Club leans hard on Vertimax and resistance training designed to increase vertical and explosiveness for all athletes, but particularly basketball, volleyball and track.
VARSITY POWER — Varsity Power is a daily lifting session with our strength coaches. Come once a week or through out the week, and lift with the pros.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT

Individual skill development is key to setting yourself apart at tryouts, or during a season. The skill coaches at Redline Denver East put the focus on your skill development outside the pressures of a team. This Fall, we are offering skill academies in the following sports:

Baseball — Mondays (Pitching/Throwing), Wednesday and Saturdays (hitting)
Basketball — Weekdays at 330 & 430 as well as Weekends at 11, 12 and 1 or by appointment
Volleyball — Saturdays (MS @ 100 and HS @200).
Football — Tuesdays and Fridays at 5.
Soccer — Sundays at 10, 11 and 12.
Pickleball — Beginners on Saturdays at 200 and 330 pm. Advanced by appointment.

All academies have monthly and drop-in pricing so that you can come as frequently as your schedule allows. You can book a drop in session by using the Redline Athletics 2.0 app which can be downloaded using the below links.

ADULT TRAINING

Our coaches also train adults. Coach DINell Flott runs our daily adult training program that focuses on strength training, HIIT and personal sessions. Unique at Redline is the opportunity to work out while your child trains performance or skills. We offer adult sessions at 415 and 715, which ends when your child’s session ends at the top of the hour. Family Fit — it is an awesome feeling to walk out together knowing you are stronger and healthier as a family.

THE WEEKLY FLEX

The owners at Redline Denver East are also parents. We know how crazy schedules can get! The Weekly Flex membership allows families to change their membership each week based upon how many times you are able to come and train. Rather than pay one rate for the month, you can FLEX your membership to meet your actual needs for the week.

Most athletes that train at Redline want to come 3-4 times a week to work on their speed, strength and agility. But School, team sports, family vacations and other commitments get in the way. On Sundays, you can FLEX your membership to

Unlimited — $44.99 a week or less than $23 per session

One Class — $24.99

Away — $4.99

THE FLEX gives you maximum flexibility and control over how much you pay for your training. It eliminates the need to cancel your membership, and pay termination fees, when your school, team, or family schedule makes it hard to train as much as you would like. Families no longer have to pay a flat monthly fee regardless of how much they actually are able to enjoy the membership at Redline.

We are proud of this family friendly membership that FLEXES to your availability throughout the year!

HOW WE TRAIN

Comprehensive training to build Athleticism, Resilience and Confidence.

Speed & Agility

What is Speed & Agility?

Moving the body in one direction as fast as possible coupled with the ability to accelerate, decelerate, stabilize, and quickly change directions with proper posture.

Why is Speed & Agility important?

Athletes experience more success and have more confidence on their chosen field of play when they work to improve their speed and agility. They’ll react faster, move more fluidly, and make more plays.

How do we train Speed & Agility?

Redline teaches proper running mechanics and posture while incorporating dedicated focus on linear speed, lateral speed, footwork, change of direction, jumping and landing.

What is Strength & Conditioning?

Engaging in activities to improve performance by applying the general sports training principles of overload, reversibility, progression, individualization, periodization, and specificity. (ref 1, 2)

Why is Strength & Conditioning important?

To achieve their full potential, aspiring Athletes must understand proper posture, balance their movement patterns, build supporting and stabilizing muscle groups, improve mobility, and enhance their coordination. (ref 3)

How we train Strength & Conditioning?

Redline believes in age-appropriate strength and resistance training. We prioritize safety in every movement by focusing on proper mechanics first, followed by consistency, and then intensity.

Injury Prevention

What is Injury Prevention?

The outcome of the collective training activities consistently performed by an athlete to help him/her avoid major or season-ending injury.

Why is Injury Prevention important?

Athletes want to be able to perform at their best, and they never want to miss out on games or competitions due to injury.  Well-rounded Athletes who train their body and movement patterns will be better prepared, more resilient, and able to thrive throughout the demands of a season, postseason and beyond.

How do we train Injury Prevention?

Redline provides a comprehensive and well-rounded program to develop speed, agility, strength, body awareness, movement mechanics, and posture. In all, it’s a great way to help ensure your Athlete stays strong, ready, and on their chosen field of play.

GIRLS BASKETBALL TRYOUTS

Redline Denver East is the home of a locally grown girls club basketball team known at THE BUREAU. Like all of our programs, THE BUREAU is a development program for players looking to increase their skills and IQ for play at the next level. We will be holding tryouts in March, and throughout the year. If you cannot make tryouts, please email denvereast@redlineathletics.com to set up an assessment and placement within one of our teams at one of our three levels: Developmental, Competitive and Select.

Calling all girls looking to learn, grow and excel at the game of basketball. THE BUREAU was founded in 2019 by Mike Haynes and Aaron Bradford as a place for players to develop their skills, and their passion for the game of basketball. Our Program features teams at all skill levels:

Developmental — Girls that are looking to make the leap from recreational to competitive basketball but are also looking to build fundamental confidence in their skills as a player. These teams play against other local programs with girls looking to grow into competitive players.

Competitive — Girls that have built solid skills and their confidence has arrived at a place where they want to start competing against the best girls in the Denver Metro Area. These teams play in competitive tournaments on grade or higher.

Select — Select players are the best in the state, or are seeking to establish themselves as such. Our select teams have won the AAU World Championship, the Gold Crown Elite and Gold Divisions and often play up several grades to ready them for high school and college play.

Tryouts are a good opportunity to come and have fun, meet the coaches, learn more about the REDLINE difference and make a decision about how to spend the Spring and Summer.

NCAA LIVE HIGH SCHOOL TRAVEL BASKETBALL

Redline Denver East and THE BUREAU are collaborating to field SELECT Teams on the Puma NxtPRO Circuit and the HOOP GROUP circuit in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Founder Mike Haynes has hand selected four events that will provide meaningful exposure for college bound basketball players seeking a college look.

NCAA Live Period is a time when NCAA coaches are permitted to scout high school players directly. NCAA Live is the weekend of May 17, July 10 and July 19. We have selected competitive tournaments that will provide our players a real opportunity to be seen and recruited.

Joining a BUREAU Select Team is not about travel, it is about preparing completely for the next level. Our teams will play locally and train at Redline, doing both skill development as well as sports performance for next level power and explosiveness. Teams will practice at least 2x a week to get ready for May and July travel.

We will be fielding teams at:

17U/Unsigned Seniors — This team is reserved for seniors looking to get an offer to play next year.
16U Recruit Ready Teams — These teams feature Juniors and Sophomores that are now ready to be scouted.
15U Prospects — These teams feature players that are still developing high level competitive skills.

If you cannot make tryouts, please email denvereast@redlineathletics.com. We will set up an assessment in February.

ELEMENTARY & MIDDLE SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL TRYOUTS

THE BUREAU is a basketball program located in North East Denver dedicated to developing competitive basketball players. THE BUREAU fields developmental, competitive and select teams from 2nd grade to high school. Teams practice twice a week at Redline Denver East. Each practice consists of the following

60 minutes of Sports Performance : Redline Signature Sports Performance Training with our Sports Performance Specialists. We start each season with a performance evaluation that looks at various attributes of speed, endurance and agility. The teams then run through three months of speed, agility, power and explosiveness training designed to build a better athlete.

90 minutes of Basketball: Following the sports performance, the players join their coach on the court to work on skills and team concepts. Every player is trained on the fundamental of ball handling, shooting, finishing, passing, ball exchanges, defensive footwork, rebounding, three pointers, free throws and defensive IQ. Our teams are trained on team concepts on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Our goal is to educate and train our players to compete for slots on their top middle school and high school teams when the time comes. We develop competitive players — a task that takes years to achieve. No matter where you are — we will help get you to the next level of performance.

In our view, there are three types of players in Colorado:

Developmental — Boys that are looking to make the leap from recreational to competitive basketball but are also looking to build fundamental confidence in their skills as a player. These teams play against other local programs with boys looking to grow into competitive players.

Competitive — Boys that have built solid skills and confidence are placed on competitive squads and placed in tournaments to start competing against the best boys in the Denver Metro Area. These teams play in competitive tournaments on grade.

Select — Select players are the best in the state, or are seeking to establish themselves as such. Our Select players will play in local and national tournaments designed to help the players ready themselves for varsity high school and college play.

We assess players on a daily basis and place them with teams in the above categories. Please join us for tryouts in March, or set up an assessment by emailing denvereast@redlineathletics.com. You can register at https://go.teamsnap.com/forms/417112.

If you cannot make tryouts, please reach out to Redline and set up an assessment in February — denvereast@redlineathletics.com.
