On June 18, 2010, Kate Dickman verbally committed to play softball at the University of Utah.
Kate started training at RedLine in the beginning of 2009, and has bought into the importance of serious athletic training. She came to RedLine already a gifted athlete, and has thrived under the guided instruction of the training staff!
As a freshman at Capistrano Valley HS, Kate was voted Newcomer of the Year. As a sophomore, she was voted Most Inspirational Player. Her junior year she was voted Team MVP and also garnered South Coast All League Honors.
Kate is currently playing at the highest level possible for her age in the club softball arena. She is a standout on the 18 Gold Team-Courage. Since the beginning of the summer season, Kate has been a statistical leader in nearly every offensive and defensive catagory!
We are so proud of her and will have her ready to pursue her collegiate softball career and give her a head start over the other athletes!

RedLine welcomes Trenten Merrill to its elite training staff! Working towards his CPT certificate at Saddleback College, Trenten is also training at RedLine to compete as a 100 meter and 200 meter sprinter in the Paralympics. Trenten played volleyball and wrestled at Capo Valley High School where he graduated in 2008.
Speed & Acceleration Week
During this week at RedLine, our clients will be working on their Speed and Acceleration. The staff will be focusing on the proper way to accelerate from a number of athletic stances and movements. This also includes the reinforcement of correct running mechanics that were instilled last week. The speed will be taught by a number of hills runs and resisted runs while focusing on fast foot action. Acceleration will be enhanced by following the resisted portion of the work by a number of drills, such as assisted sprints and different get-up stances. We hope to see you this week and see you improve your athletic ability.
Battle of the Baseball Players
Coming soon! We have video of the RedLine Teacher vs. Pupil bout in Stillwater, Oklahoma, July 4, 2010.
In the blue corner, Joel Atkinson is an incoming freshman and RedLine Athete that signed a scholarship with OSU to play baseball. His opponent: none other than Lyndsey Simmons, ex-OSU standout and RedLine Athletics founder and trainer.
Let’s get ready to rumble!
Lauren Roknich Signs NLI at Creighton University

Another RedLine Elite athlete is headed to the American Midwest! We are pleased to announce that Lauren Roknich has enrolled at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and will be competing on Creighton’s NCAA Division I Women’s Crew Team.
As a senior, Lauren was recently named 2010 Scholar-Athlete of the Year at JSerra Catholic High School, and was recognized similarly by the Trinity League.
At JSerra, Lauren collected eight (8) varsity letters, including four (4) in water polo and four (4) in softball, and served as a team captain on each team. Lauren earned an All-Trinity League Second Team selection as a water polo player, but we at RedLine expected Lauren to accept an offer to play Division I softball (especially Dan, her hitting coach). Lauren surprised everyone by being recruited to multiple college rowing teams as well.
Lauren will be majoring in biology and pre-med at Creighton. We believe Lauren is a great example of the versatility of the athletes in our All-Sports training program at RedLine.
