Mike Bolio, Pro Football Player“I wanna thank Erik and the whole RedLine staff for not just making me a better trainer but for preparing me for this season. I have never been on a better off-season program than the one Erik Korop put me on. I’m not promoting anything bu…t Erik is hands down the best trainer on the West Coast, if not the country. I also want to thank all of the clients whom I developed a lot of personal relationships with. Just remember to not let anything stand in the way of your goals and dreams, always think BIG!”

Exciting Times at RedLine

RedLine Athletics in Orange CountyThe late spring is always an exciting time at RedLine! This time last year we saw Kevin Chambers be selected by the Detroit Tiger in the 2009 Major League Draft. This year, in the 2010 MLB Draft, Peter Tago of Dana Hills HS, was selected as the 47th Overall Selection in the Supplemental First Round. Later on we had another client, Colton Keough of Tesoro HS, selected in the 49th Round by the Seattle Mariners.

All three of these young men realized the gifts and talents they had been given, but they also understood that they need to maximize those talents. Peter Tago has been training at RedLine since the 8th grade, Kevin Chambers began his training the fall of his sophomore year at Capo Valley HS, and Colton Keough started as a junior at Tesoro HS.

As you see, it’s never to early to start nor is it to late to start training with the incredible staff at RedLine. NOW IS THE TIME!!!! There is no time like the present to get your son or daughter in to help give them that edge that college coaches or profession scouts will notice on the field of play.

Congratulations to Colton Keough!

Colton has been a part of the RedLine Athletics family for over a year, and since Colton has come in, we have been able to help him get both physically and mentally prepared for the baseball at the highest level. We wish Colton well and the best of luck!

RedLine Athletics in Orange CountyOn Monday, June 7, 2010, Peter Tago of Dana Hills High School was selected as the 47th Overall Pick in the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft by the Colorado Rockies.

Peter has been a part of the RedLine Athletics family for 5 years! When Peter was in 8th grade when Lyndsey began working with him. It has been great to see Peter grow and mature as a baseball player through his high school career. We wish him well and the best of luck!

Here is what BaseballAmerica.com wrote about him…

“Tago epitomizes Southern California cool. Oblivious to outside distractions, he calmly ambles off the team bus decked out in a hooded sweatshirt and wraparound shades with his iPod earphones firmly in place. He also worries little about high school hitters, whom he routinely dominates. His lanky 6-foot-3, 180-pound frame is ideally projectable, and Tago delivers the ball with an easy, relaxed throwing motion that is almost poetic. Tago, who switched his college commitment from UCLA to Cal State Fullerton in May, fires a 91-93 mph fastball, and his arm action and build indicate more velocity in the future. His curve exhibits nice shape and two-plane movement, but Tago will need to tighten the spin on that pitch. He can better incorporate his lower half into his delivery and clean up his arm stroke as well. He’ll also need to develop a third pitch, such as a changeup. An Aflac and Area Codes alumnus, Tago provides a near perfect model of a prep righthander with a huge upside: projectable frame, easy arm action, calm demeanor and electric stuff.”
