Kevin Chambers, an ’09 graduate from Capistrano Valley High School, has signed a scholarship to play baseball at Oklahoma State University. While at Capo, Kevin was a three year letter winner and the captain of the 2009 CIF Championship team. Kevin was named to the All South Coast League Team as a junior and senior, and as a senior he earned 2nd Team All CIF Southern Section Honors.
The coaches at Oklahoma State have high aspirations for Kevin. They signed him to the largest scholarship in his recruiting class and want him to be a two way player for the Cowboys. Playing first base and pitching has been a role that Kevin is used to and wants to continue while at OSU.

The RedLine staff has always been incredible to my family and me. This is the only place that I am able to work out alongside my siblings and dad. The trainers promote an intense, but fun training environment that suits anyone.
They are extremely knowledgeable and are able to relate to each and every client while making them bigger, faster and stronger.
Since beginning my training with Lindsey, Erik, and Dave, I have become much more versatile and agile. I have noticed in the past three years that I am getting to more balls in the outfield and getting better jumps on steals. They emphasize speed and quickness in everything they do, and that is what it takes to get to the next level. My opportunities at the Division I level have grown exponentially because of the confidence my coach has in my abilities. There is nothing better than knowing your coach feels at ease when he puts you in the most clutch situation.

Erik’s Active Warm-Up Exercise 2
June 7, 2009 by Erik Korop
The Quad Walk is a basic warm-up exercise that also often gets overlooked. This exercise is a great way to help loosen the quadriceps and hip flexors. Plus, while performing this stretch balance can also be improved.
To execute this exercise, reach behind you and grab the top of a foot and pull it toward the glutes, while still maintaining balance (with a straight leg) on the leg that is grounded. After holding the foot at a comfortable position for 3-10 seconds, release it and step forward. Pull the other foot up and repeat the process. To engage the hip flexor, push your hips forward at the peak of the stretch. This exercise can be repeated 5-15 times per leg.

Capistrano Valley High School won the Southern Section CIF Championship on Saturday, June 6th, by beating Edison 1-0. With the Redline staff in attendance, current Redline client, Kevin Chambers dominated on the mound. Kevin pitched 5 2/3 scoreless innings in which he allowed 6 hits, all singles, 2 walks with 3 strikeouts. Chambers was also 3 for 3 at the plate, with a double and 2 singles. Another Redline client, Kyle Hunt, the sophomore shortstop, showed off some outstanding defensive plays to help keep Edison hitters off the bases.
Congratulations to Capo for a great finish to the year, and especially to Kevin and Kyle for being a part of the Redline Family.

RedLine is the place to go if you want to become a better athlete. It greatly improves your skills no matter what sport you play. For me I have noticed an increase in speed and quickness from Erik, Lyndsey, and
Dave’s specific training on running mechanics and having quicker feet. The weight training is intense and hard work but it shows tremendous results. I have gotten a lot stronger by training at RedLine than I would have at school or other outside weight programs.
RedLine has helped me compete at the varsity level and helped me compete with good athletes. It has prepared me to compete at the next level at Arizona State for a spot on the lacrosse team. Thanks RedLine for everything!

In order to compete at the highest level, an athlete has to train at the highest level. Transitioning from playing baseball at the amateur level to becoming a professional, I knew I needed to take my game to another level.

After one offseason at RedLine, I saw an increase in athleticism, strength and velocity. I have seen my hard work transition into success at the professional level. RedLine gives athletes the competitive edge that they need to progress and improve in whatever sport they play. The RedLine staff knows what it takes to play at the highest level – they will help you reach your fullest potential.
