We at RedLine Athletics are excited to present our new website!  We have designed RedLineAthletics.com to keep our clients up to date on not only what is going on at Redline (the News Section), but also the latest and most practical ways of athletic training (our Training Tips Section). We also plan to review sports and training equipment, to help our customers better select their gear.

You’ll also find the RedLine Schedule, which we will keep up to date for your convenience, and RedLineTV, which for now is a link to our YouTube videos. We have also started a new section, to showcase our customers and their accomplishments, that we call RedLine All-Stars, where you might see a feature article on…YOU!

If you need to contact us via email, you can do so anytime on our Contact Us page. And yes, it’s cool that I get my own blog section, so I keep you guys and gals motivated to think about training hard even when you’re not at RedLine! Think of it as “Lyndsey 24/7…scary, huh?”

Thanks for visiting, and I hope you enjoy the new site, which incidentally, was designed and built by the father of one of our RedLine Athletes, and his company, Location Marketing, Inc.! We welcome your comments and feedback!

Erik’s Active Warm-Up Exercise 1

Active Warm-Up Exercises for Sports Specific TrainingThe Knee Pull is a basic warm-up exercise that often gets overlooked.  This exercise is a great way to help loosen the glutes and hamstrings.  Plus, while performing this stretch balance can also be worked on.  To execute this exercise, pull one knee as high as possible toward the chest while still maintaining balance (with a straight leg) on the leg that is grounded. After holding the knee at it’s highest position for 3-10 seconds, release it and step forward.  Pull the other leg up and repeat the process.  This exercise can be repeated 5-15 times per leg.

I am truly blessed to be able to call myself part of the Redline Family. The eight months I spent working with Lyndsey, Erik, and Dave made me a better trainer and a better person. As I prepared to join the Cleveland Indians for spring training, Lyndsey, Erik, and Dave elevated my redline-athleticsathletic abilities to a level I have never been before.

It was obvious after I reported to camp that I was not only in the best shape but was also one of the best athletes of the entire minor league pitching staff. This has translated to an increase in velocity, movement, and comand of my pitches. I am looking forward to a successful season and Redline is to thank for my improved overall game!

Thanks to Redline Athletics I am able to compete at the Division 1 level without any problems and feel much more confident with my improved athletic abilities. All of the staff are very friendly and will bend over backwards to make sure that you get the most out of your daily training sessions. I could feel major improvements in just a couple of weeks and feel that if I would have started training with Redline a bit earlier I would have been able to increase my strength, speed and agility tremendously. Thank you Dave, Erik, and Lyndsey for all your help.
